17/09/2023
This series was made in early autumn, shortly after I arrived in Edinburgh. Rain, the sea, white flowers, crows, wet stone, and a dim self-portrait come together as a threshold between arrival and belonging. Grey, damp, slightly unsettled, and quietly absorbing. The self-portrait becomes part of this act of looking, as if asking how the body is slowly taken in by the rain, wind, and low light of a new place.
